The community from District 3 neighborhoods gathered at the San Diego LGBT Community Center to celebrate the election of Mayor Bob Filner on the evening of his inauguration. The event was free and open to the public and included free food, and entertainment. Filner also congratulated Council member Todd Gloria, who was unanimously elected president of the San Diego City Council. Commemorative keychains displaying, “Toast to Mayor Filner, Dec. 3, 2012”, were also given out.
