Several people waited online outside Ardenwood Historic Farm (Fremont) on New Year’s Day to view the monarch butterflies that migrate there in search of warmth. They travel hundreds of miles from the western U.S. and Canada to escape temperatures that can hit below freezing. On Sunday night during the Miss Universe event host Steve Harvey mistakenly crowned Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez-Arévalo, the winner of the event. He realized his mistake in the moment leading to one of the most awkward TV moments of 2015. The winner from the Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, stood in shock as the announcement was made. It’s here! The dates for Adele’s new tour have been announced. She will be returning to North America after five years. The tour begins on July 5th in St. Paul, MN at Xcel Energy Center and run through November 15th in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes. The tour will have multiple shows in most markets, including six nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles and six nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Continue reading »
