Amy Winehouse Documentary Opening this Summer

Asif Kapadia’s documentary on iconic singer Amy Winehouse, received rave reviews at Cannes Film Festival. “The more people see of me, the more they’ll realize that all I’m good for is making music,” the six-time Grammy-winner says to the camera. The documentary includes a mix of unseen archival footage, interviews with friends and family and unheard tracks. North Park Residents and Qualcomm Volunteers Take Back the Alley

Media Arts Center San Diego’s (MACSD) initiative, Take Back the Alley, kicked off on May 14 in North Park with nearly 50 community members and Qualcomm volunteers. Take Back the Alley started in 2011 and aims to help redefine and transform alleys into safer and friendlier areas of congregation.
