Death is the inevitable finale we will all face one day but living is full of complexities that we can’t deter from regardless of knowing what our fate will be. Ray (Tim Kang) has to face the fact that his father is going to die after being placed in hospice care. A fact he ignored until his caretaker Lucien (Tyrone Mitchell Henderson) said the word hospice out loud, which is when patients are released from the hospital to live out their last days at home. San Diego Latino Film Festival
The 23rd annual San Diego Latino Film Festival will take place from March 10-20, 2016 and will be held at both AMC Fashion Valley 18 and Digital Gym CINEMA North Park. The Media Kick-Off party was held at the Quad Ale House in downtown San Diego on February 25th and everyone had a blast catching up with filmmakers and movers and shakers of the film community. Swan Lake at the War Memorial Opera House
“Swan Lake” presented by the San Francisco Ballet is playing at the War Memorial Opera House until February 28. The company performed the first American production of Swan Lake in 1940, this version is choreographed by Helgi Tomasson. He choreographed his first production of Swan Lake for SF Ballet in 1988 and in 2009, he created a new version. This is his first time returning since 2010. Continue reading »

Marvel Studios has begun principal photography at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, on Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,”. The movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on May 5, 2017. The original “Guardians of the Galaxy” was a hit with critics and audiences alike, earning over $770 million at the worldwide box-office, and holds the record as the most successful debut film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
