San Diegans and San Diego tourists have the opportunity to learn about Mayan culture at the San Diego Natural History Museum’s newest exhibit, “Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed,” until January 3, 2016. They were one of the most advanced ancient civilizations and influenced many of our technologies and beliefs today. “The artifacts and interactive exhibits are extraordinary and portray how advanced this ancient civilization was. Their sophistication with respect to math, astronomy, and architecture, to name a few, was way ahead of their time,” said Dr. Michael Hager, president and CEO of the San Diego Natural History Museum. San Francisco Beer and Music Festival

Rock Star Beer Productions held their first San Francisco Beer and Music Festival on November 21st. The Las Vegas company easily appealed to locals and sold out almost a week in advance. The event was outdoors at SOMA Streat food Park and showcased multiple local and regional breweries as well as local bands and DJ’s. Missy fans are rejoicing today! Missy Elliott dropped a video for WTF (Where They From) ft. Pharrell Williams and the Internet is going bonkers. It didn’t become apparent to her that she was extremely missed until a gig with Katy Perry during the Super Bowl. Riverdance 20th Anniversary Tour

You have until November 8th to check out the 20th anniversary show of Riverdance at SHN Golden Gate Theatre. The popular show comes from a sold out run across Europe and Asia. Over 20 dancers bring this show to life including an Irish troupe, Flamenco and Urban dancers. Not many people seem to know this as its not emphasized in its advertising.

There were Altars organized by the Marigold Project set up in Garfield Park prior to the parade.
