MJ Live (Tribute to Michael Jackson)

MJ LiveIf you never got a chance to see Michael Jackson perform in person, you should check out “MJ Live” in Las Vegas. This brilliant tribute is playing at the Crown Theater in Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Michael Firestone sings over an hour of the King of Pop’s most popular songs including “Billy Jean”, “Dirty Diana”, “Black or White”, “Thriller” and a rendition of The Jackson 5 hits. There’s a live band, eight backup dancers and video screens displayed all around the walls of the theater to enhance your experience.

There is no doubt that Firestone has studied Michael Jackson’s every move, style and voice. This is most apparent during the song “She’s Out of My Life” when he ends it with a similar whimper and when he shouts “I Love You” to the audience at the end of some performances. Firestone is self-taught, learning Jackson’s moves and style through good ol’ VHS tapes, CD’s and tape recordings. His love of Michael Jackson grew into a career that even took him overseas to perform for Star Cruises traveling from China to Australia and Singapore.

The 900-seat theater provides an intimate space with good views from all seats. If you’d like table service you can upgrade to Golden Circle seating which brings you the closest to the stage. Make it a full date night and opt for the ticket that includes the Carnival World Buffet, which has more than 300 dishes prepared fresh daily, and a new contemporary design.

The impressive behind-the-scenes team includes Director Eric Martin, Lighting Designer David Schulman, Costume Designer Lori Palmer, Choreographer Missy Cochran and veteran Producer Dick Feeney, whose career spans over 40 years including working on over 32,000 show performances in Las Vegas alone.

Tickets are available at http://mjliveshow.com or vegasshowsdirect.com.
