Adelman Fine Art: Art You Enjoy

Pink Egg Media spoke with the owners and curators of Adelman Fine Art, Marcia Adelman and Nicole Adelman-Brewer. The mother-daughter duo handpicked every artist represented based on their unique and vibrant outlook they bring to the art world, breaking traditional art misconceptions and showing how art really can be for everyone and anyone. The gallery showcase emerging and nationally recognized fine artists working in a variety of media.

Adelman Fine Art is a new contemporary boutique gallery in San Diego, California. Co-owner Marcia Adelman and her husband have been collectors for years. It has been a dream for them to open a gallery. “If you scratch the surface of every gallery owner, you’ll find an art collector”, she said. Their collection started with Iris Scott at home and continued on from there.

“We really feel like we’re filling a niche,” said Marcia, who believes that San Diego is ready for this boutique type of gallery.  Co-owner Nicole said that they looked all over the county for the perfect location and eventually chose Little Italy. She said that they never fell in love with any other location. “We feel like the vibe is right. There’s something happening in Little Italy and in San Diego… in the art community. We’re just happy to be a part of it,” said Nicole.
